selector { color: #7b1010; }
Hexadecimal colors -- hex values -- are a 6-digit limited alphanumeric (numbers 0-9, letters A-F) string allowing for a wide range of color choices. Repeating values can be suggested with 3-digit values, where #000000 is equivalent to #000 -- black in both cases. When in doubt, use six digits.
The Color Picker at right is a tool to help you choose hex values. The outer ring selects the primary hue... a gradient of saturation and luminance is in the square inside the outer color ring. Done playing with the color wheel? Smashing. Now select the 6-digit hex value, and either copy / paste... or type... the value you see there into the text input here to assign the color.
The herd cringes to imagine what unspeakably gauche coordinations you walking monkeys will concoct, and we'll share no blame for your childish creations.
